Blog 8; Finally Finished!

     Good news guys! I have just got finished with our video game! Being the first ever video game I have ever created, I must say that I am pleased with the results. All of the graphics are original, and look decent enough, the gameplay is unique, and it looks like an all out fun game to play. Sure, it may be missing a few elements like a sound track, or proper animation, but it is all things I can work out in the future. We will be submitting the game to the TSA website so that they can judge it. I'll try to submit a video of me playing the game for you guys to check out, so stay tuned if you want to hear more about my game!

Blog 7: Video Game Update!

Hello readers, I'm giving an update on my video game so far, and it is going GREAT. I have already created the visuals, animations, and such, and now all I have to do is get them to move. There will be a total of three levels and I have to say are pretty exciting. The studio I used, Game Maker: Studio, was very easy to use, especially with the help of tutorials. I have decided to create a pixilated world, which is actually a lot harder than you think. Looking back, I think that the characters look better than the worlds, but I'm still proud of them. All of the sprites are original, and made using the paint program on windows. All I have left for the game is to just create actions for the characters. Doing all  of this stuff with video games have made me learn a lot about graphic design and programming. I'll tell you when I get finished in the next post!
