Blog 3, Minecraft!

Hello everybody! I hope you had an awesome Thanksgiving, because I know I did! Not only did I have triducken, but I also got to experience some new courses by Code.org. There were two new courses by Code.org, which I had a lot of fun with. The first was a Minecraft course that had you not only build a house for Steve, but also free roam and create your own creation! I was able to learn some new blocks, and even got to check out a feature where you can switch from block programming, to JavaScript! After my Minecraft course, I checked out the new Star Wars game creator course, which, I have to say, was really neat and fun. It had me create a free roaming droid that went to collect all of the pieces of junk while avoiding Stormtroopers! At the end of your course, you can take your creative knowledge, and create your very own Star Wars game! These are just a few of the many courses now available on Code.org, which can help me become a better programmer.
